PURPOSE:To improve the durability of a media and to make a disk being pressed to the disk with a strong force at high speed rotation time without the contact of the media with the head at its stopping time by giving a spring force which separates the head from the media and by generating the force to press to the media with an air stream to a fin-shaped head. CONSTITUTION:The head of a magnetic recording device receives an upward force with a spring 7. The air stream exhausted from an air generating nozzle 6 abutts the fin-shaped head 4 at high speed rotation time to give a strong press force toward a media 2 to the head 4.
