PURPOSE:To provide the titled treating agent having excellent adhesivity and composed of a radically polymerizable monomer, an acidic compound having at least one (meth)acryloyloxy group in onemolecule, an alpha-ketocarbonyl compound, a sulfinic acid compound and a dialdehyde. CONSTITUTION:The titled treating agent contains (A) a radically polymerizable monomer (e.g. methyl acrylate), (B) an acidic compound containing at least one (meth)acryloyloxy group in one molecule (e.g. 4- methacryloyloxyethoxycarbonylphthalic acid), (C) an alpha-ketocarbonyl compound (e.g. camphor-quinone), (D) a sulfinic acid (e.g. benzenesulfinic acid) or its salt and (E) a dialdehyde (e.g. glutaraldehyde). The agent has excellent low temperature curability near room temperature and water-resistant adhesivity, exhibits excellent adhesion to dentine such as enamel and is free from adverse effect against dental pulp. |
