WALKING BEAM TYPE HEATING FURNACE

PURPOSE:To enable common use of a hearth part for conveying heating materials having different lengths such as long-sized materials and ingots and to improve the heat unit by installing walking hearths and walking beams in combination to said hearth part. CONSTITUTION:A walking frame 5 moved vertically and transversely by a driving device 8 makes walking operation. Movable beams 3 and movable hearths 4 are fixed to the frame 5 and makes the same operation as the operation of the frame 5. An extra-short material 7 is alternately supported by a hearth 1-1 which is a part of a furnace body 1 and the hearth 4 and is conveyed by the walking cycle of the hearth 4. A long-sized material 6 is alternately supported by stationary beams 2 fixed to the hearth 1-1 which is a part of the body 1 and the beams 3 and is conveyed by the walking cycle of the beams 3.
