HEAT INSULATING CHAMBER FOR HIGH-TEMPERATURE OBJECT

PURPOSE:To prevent the thermal deformation of rollers and the high-temp. deterioration of roller bearings and to decrease the dissipation of the heat retained in a high-temp. object to the outside by supporting the high-temp. object by means of a specifically constructed supporting device in place of the rollers of a roller table at times except when the high-temp. object is carried in and out. CONSTITUTION:The supporting device 10 having receiving bases 12 which retreat to the lower side from the top surface of the rollers 4a of the roller 4a table 4 during the carrying in and out of the high-temp. object 1 and project to the side upper than the rollers 4a to support the object 1 after the carrying in of the object 1 is provided. The object 1 housed into a heat insulating chamber is thereby held in the state of having no direct contact with the rollers 4a. The device 10 consists of the plural receiving bases 12 to support the object 1 by projecting from the spaces between the rollers 4a and a lifting mechanism 13 to vertically move the receiving bases 12 and is further preferably so constructed as that the receiving bases 12 are vertically moved by means of an actuator 14 via a link mechanism 15.
