PURPOSE:To guide an unmanned carrier just with a safe and simple operation by delivering the steering control signal to a steering means by a proper steering control logic and based on the gradient and the lateral deflection value of the carrier to a guid line and guiding continuously the carrier along the guide line. CONSTITUTION:The deflection value DELTALn caused between the reference point C of an unmanned carrier V and the distance L set to a guide line G.L is calculated continuously and for each fixed scan period together with the gradient theta'of the carrier V to the line G.L (running line R.L). These obtain value DELTALn and the gradient theta' are delivered to a steering (control) means 5 to control the carrier V so that it always travels with the prescribed distance L secured from the line G.L for the point C. As a result, the carrier V is accurately guided just with a safe and simple operation.
