Lighting apparatus comprising a lamp support fitted with elastic means for retention in a housing in a fixed holding structure, in a position where a plate 16 belonging to the support, drilled with a hole 18 for the light to pass through and situated in front of the lamp 30 bears on the structure. The lamp comprises a ferrule 10 which has a rim for bearing on one face of the structural element and is retained on this element by a backplate 36 which is applied onto the other face of the structural element and is fitted with claws 38 for immobilising it on the ferrule 10. <IMAGE>
