<p>An aerosol spray dispenser (10) is provided with a floatation stabilizing arrangement (44); a scale (46) is associated with the dispenser so that the depth at which it floats can be read by comparing the position of the surface of the water with graduations on the scale. Stabilizing action may be obtained by placing the dispenser (10) in a floatable bottom-weighted vial (24) with the scale (36) located on the exterior of the vial (24). The dispenser (10) itself may be bottom-weighted and the scale (36) placed on the exterior of the dispenser (10); or a cap (40) may be provided which is top-weighted so that the assembly floats stably upside-down. The graduations may be placed on the dispenser (10); or on a strip (46) or skirt integral with the cap and extending along the outside of the dispenser (10).</p> |
