PURPOSE:To treat waste water effectively and reasonably by a procedure in which a cationic high molecular coagulant is added to the treated liquid from a nitrating and denitrifying stage, the treated water is dehydrated to separate it into dehydrated sludge and separated liquid and then the separated liquid is further flocculated by an inorganic flocculant. CONSTITUTION:Night soil 2 is flowed, together with the returned sludge 2, into an anaerobic tank 3, and then passed in order through the first denitrification tank 4, a nitrating tank 5, and the second denitrification tank 6 for treatment. The effluent 11 so treated and the excessive sludge 10 are put into a floceulating tank 12 to which is added a flocculant containing a cationic high molecular floceulant 13 and then dehydrated by a dehydrator 15 to separate it into the separated liquid 17 and the dehydrated sludge 16. Then, the flocculant 14 containing an inorganic foceulant is added to the separated liquid 17 for floceulation and removal. The amount of diluting waer used in said anaerobic tank and nitrating and denitrifying stages is less than three times as much as the amount of night soil to be treated. |
