PURPOSE:A cosmetic, obtained by blending an ascorbic acid-tannin conjugate having a structure of ascorbic acid which is a natural active ingredient linked to tannin as an active ingredient and having improved skin beautifying effect, whitening and beautifying effect, humectant effect, etc. CONSTITUTION:A cosmetic obtained by blending an ascorbic acid-tannin conjugate (which can also be obtained by extracting from plant bodies of Geranii Herba or Gambir) prepared by linking ascorbic acid to tannin by a chemical reaction or microbial technique, etc., as an active ingredient. If a water-soluble high polymer, e.g. polypeptide, water-soluble collagen, mucopolysaccharide, gelatin, etc., is further blended with the cosmetic, more favorable skin conditioning effect is exhibited. EFFECT:The tenseness of the skin is kept in a good state and dullness of the skin is improved. |
