PURPOSE:To simplify adjustment of width for a bottom plate by composing the bottom plate of a bottom plate main body and bottom plate side part forming bodies and arranging a screw shaft at one side and a female screw member with fittable to the screw shaft at the other side. CONSTITUTION:The bottom plate 1 for continuous casting equipment is composed of the bottom plate main body 2 and one pair of the bottom plate side part forming bodies 3, which are shiftable to right and left directions, and also the rotatable screw shaft 4 is fitted at the lower face of the one side of the bottom plate main body 2 through a fitting member 5. Each male screw 4a is cut as reversely for screw direction respectively at the both end parts of the screw shaft 4, and the female screw members 7 fixed to the bottom plate side part forming bodies 3 are fitted. The screw shaft 4 is rotated by a handle 6, and then the forming bodies 3 are shifted toward reverse direction at right and left respectively to change the width of the bottom plate 1. In this way, the adjustment of the width for the bottom plate 1 is simplified.
