PURPOSE:To maintain creep preventing controls even when a foot is separated from a brake pedal by excluding the condition of brake operation from the condition of releasing creep preventing control. CONSTITUTION:An automatic transmission 3 consisting of a fluid torque converter 1 and a mechanical speed change mechanism 2, a creep preventing means 4, an input means 5, and a control means 6 are provided in a creep control means. The input means 5 includes an engine output detecting means 501 and a brake operation detecting means 502. When a signal indicating the start of brake operation and a signal indicating that the output of an engine is below a set value, are inputted into the control means 6, it outputs an operation signal (a). During a creep preventing control due to the output of this operation signal (a), the creep preventing control is maintained independently from the brake operating signal, and a release signal (b) is outputted when a signal indicating that the engine output is above a set value is inputted. |
