PURPOSE:To enhance the efficiency of a motor by forming a cut and erected portion in a housing to surround the engaged portion of the housing with the projection of a core to increase a magnetic resistance, thereby reducing an exciting current. CONSTITUTION:Cut and erected portions 8 are so formed in a housing 6 as to be engaged with projections 2 formed at four positions of a core 1 on which toroidal coils 3 are wound and to surround the projections 2. Magnetic fluxes excited by the coils 3 are fed from the core 1 to a rotor 4 and to the housing 6 through the projections 2, but since the portions 8 are provided in the housing 6, the magnetic resistance from the core 1 to the housing 6 is increased.
