PURPOSE:To easily recognize which parts are overlapped in an overlapped state of two graphics by recognizing that the inside of one picture includes the corner of other picture. CONSTITUTION:An image ABCDE whose all internal angles are less than 180 deg. is a part of a projecting polygon. For judging the possibility that the corner O is enveloped in the image ABCDE, a tolerance recognization part 1000 recognizes that line segments OY' and AB intersect, then a tolerance recognition part 1001 recognizes that line segments DE and OX' intersect, thereby judging said possibility. Namely, if a point E' is used instead of E, it does not mean that the corner O is enveloped in the image ABCDE'. The judgement whether line segments intersect only on prolonged lines is made by judging that coordinates at an intersection between two primary straight lines are larger than coordinates X and Y of the corner O.
