PURPOSE:To obtain a sharp image by forming a photosensitive layer in such a manner that a polymerizable compd. is dispersed in the form of oil drops into said layer and that a silver halide exists within the oil drops of the above- mentioned polymerizable compd. CONSTITUTION:This photosensitive material has the photosensitive layer contg. the silver halide, reducing agent and polymerizable compd. on a base. The polymerizable compd. is dispersed in the form of oil drops into the photosensitive layer and the silver halide exists within the oil drops of the polymerizable compd. The example of the terminal group of a hydrophilic group contg. a nitrogen atom having a lone pair of electrons is expressed by the formula. In the formula, R<1> and R<2> are a hydrogen atom or substituent with which the total carbon atoms of R<1> and R<2> are <=5. |
