PURPOSE:To eliminate the need for selecting facsimile sending ground and to improve an operability by receiving necessarily an inserting facsimile frame at a terminal having a facsimile burst receiving function even when a facsimile signal from any ground is sent. CONSTITUTION:The terminal having a facsimile burst receiving transmitting function, when the facsimile are sent, sends a facsimile frame to display the facsimile signal VIK inserted during the special horizontal scanning period in a constant time vertical fly-back period. On the other hand, at the receiving side of the terminal, the function to write the facsimile frame, to which the facsimile are displayed by the VIK signal, to the facsimile frame and display the facsimile transmission is held. When one of the receiving video signals from the VIK signal detected by VIK detected circuits 13b, 13c and 13d is the facsimile frame, the changing-over instruction of the said facsimile frame sending ground is executed to a changing-over circuit 14a, and in other cases, the ground to instruct a ground designating signal 12a from the terminal is changed over and instructed. At the time of the facsimile frame is transmitted, the instruction to insert the VIK signal for displaying the facsimile frame is indicated to a VIK inserting circuit 15a.
