PURPOSE:To prevent the generation of explosion sound by a method wherein a fuel gas control valve and an air control damper are linked and the air intake amount is controlled in compliance with the fuel gas supply amount. CONSTITUTION:The hole 37 of an operating plate 36 of an air control damper B coincides perfectly with the hole 35 of the case 33 of a pipe type air suction device and the opening areas of the plate is at a maximum. Therefore, the maximum amount of fuel gas is supplied into the case 33 through a nozzle 23 and the maximum amount of air is supplied through the hole 37 of the plate 36 and the hole 35 of the case 33 and they are mixed in the case 33 and supplied to the main body of a burner. When the fuel gas supply amount is reduced by throttling the path 22 of a body 21, a circular plate 32 is rotated together with a handle 30 and the torque of the plate 32 is transmitted to the flange part 39 of the plate 36 at the damper B through gears 31, 40 to rotate the plate 36 and reduce the opening area S of the plate.
