PURPOSE:To efficiently perform migration, by arranging a surface layer comprising an electric insulating substance, a heat conductive layer consisting of a plurality of heat conductive parts and a shape reinforcing and supporting plate layer in this order. CONSTITUTION:A gel mount stand 1 for electrophoresis is constituted so that a migration gel is mounted on a surface layer 4 in a closely adhered state to perform electrophoresis and the temp. of cooling water preset to each temp. is transferred to the steel plate 51 closely adhered to each steel pipe 52. This temp. is transferred to the migration gel mounted on the surface layer 4 in a closely adhered state from each steel plate 51 through the surface layer 4 to set an intended temp. gradient in the gel. Joule heat generated during migration is transferred to the surface of each steel plate 51 at the side of a support plate layer 6 through the surface layer 4 and further discharged to the outside of a gel mount part 2 from the entire surface of each steel plate 51 by water flowing through the steel pipe 52. Therefore, migration can be efficiently performed while the intended temp. gradient is held over the entire surface of the migration gel. |
