PURPOSE:To reduce greatly the amount of liquid crystal sticking to the outside of a liquid crystal cell after liquid crystal injection, and simplify the mechanism device and operating method, etc., for the injection by injecting liquid crystal into the liquid crystal cell through a fiber member impregnated with liquid crystal. CONSTITUTION:The lower end of a fibrous material 16 is dipped in the liquid crystal 4 in a liquid crystl dish 14, and the liquid crystal 4 is sucked up to the fibrous material 16 by capillarity. The upper end of the fibrous material 16 is stuck to the inlet position of the liquid crystal cell 2, and the liquid crystal which is sucked up flows in the liquid crystal cell 2. Said fibrous material 16 is so shaped that a support 15 reaches the bottom of the liquid crystal dish 14, wound around the support 15 made of a round pipe, or wound around the support 5 made of a square pipe. |
