PURPOSE:To obtain a tonic drink free from characteristic odor of egg oil, having excellent taste and preservable without causing phase-separation of egg-oil component, by dissolving egg oil in an ethanol-containing aqueous solution and adding a specific amount of sugar and acid to the solution. CONSTITUTION:An egg oil is dissolved in an ethanol-containing aqueous solution such as SHOCHU (low class distilled spirit) or ethanol diluted with water, etc., to obtain a uniform solution. The solution is added with >=300pts.(wt.), preferably 500pts. of a sugar such as sorbitol, sucrose, etc., and >=5pts., preferably 6-100pts. of an acid such as lactic acid, citric acid, etc., (based on 1pt. of the egg oil) and the mixture is diluted with water to an extent to obtain a tonic drink containing 0.1-1.0ml, preferably 0.2-0.5ml of egg oil per 1l of drink. |
