PURPOSE:To produce uniform foil-shaped tea leaves, by closing one end of a square long container or a cylinder, boring a processing hole having a thin and narrow passageway area through the end art and transferring and pressing a pressing member which is closely engaged with the inner face from the top of the cylinder toward the bottom. CONSTITUTION:A pressure receiver 20 may has a flat top or may be a cone 20 a descending toward a processing hole 50. Any cylinder is provided with the processing hole 50 which has gap and thin and narrow passageway area which can destroy fiber tissue of tea leaves when the tea leaves are passed through at one end of the cylinder. The pressing face of a pressing member 60 to the pressure receiver 20 may be either a plane or a conic hole 60a. Hydraulic pressure, etc., can be used as pressing force to the pressure receiver 20 of the pressing member 60. The pressure receiver 20 is equipped with a rotary mechanism 18 and pressing can be carried out while rotating the pressure receiver.
