<p>An AND gate produced using this technique has two conducting film layers (1,2) one above the other. The currents (1A,1B) flow in opposing directions through the layers (1,2). On top of the two layers is a circular disc (3') of soft magnetic film which has a so-called easy magnetic axis (5') at an angle of 45 deg. to the current carrying layers (1,2). Above the magnetic disc is the detector conductor (4'), which produces a positive-going pulse (Vind) when both input currents (1A,1B) carry positive-going pulses within a set time. The output pulse is fed to a monostable multivibrator to produce a usable square wave output.</p> |
