a) Process for manufacturing a clad part. b) In the case of a process for manufacturing a clad part consisting of a base material and of at least one highly alloyed stainless (non-oxidisable) cladding material, in order to obtain satisfactory anti-corrosion characteristics and sufficiently high values of strength and toughness, the materials after cladding, are brought into a temperature range between 1000 and 1100 DEG C, then they are cooled rapidly to bring them into a temperature zone lying between 620 and 550 DEG C with a cooling rate lying between 10 DEG C/s and 1 DEG C/s and then their cooling is completed in stationary air at a cooling rate lying inbetween 15 DEG C/minute and 5 DEG C/minute. c)The invention improves the characteristics of the clad parts, in particular for use in offshore drilling. <IMAGE>
