Transmission for the continuous variation of a rotational speed under full load, in which an internally toothed gear ring is firmly connected to the output shaft. Secured movably, on the same shaft, in this gear ring are wings which have catches at the outer end. The wings are controlled by means of links which are connected movably to pins connected to the drive shaft by a holding disc. When the drive shaft is displaced from its central point, the wings have, in the event of a rotation, an unequal speed of revolution imparted to them, and, during the acceleration, they then impart to the gear ring a uniform speed of revolution. It is thus possible to vary the rotational speed in accordance with the displacement of the drive shaft from the central point. The drive shaft can also be driven eccentrically. Instead of the catches, it is also possible to use selector or overrunning clutches between the wings and the shaft.
