Isoquinoline derivatives substituted in position 3 by a basic ring, of the formula I <IMAGE> in which A, R<1>, R<2>, R<3> and R<4> have the meanings indicated, their physiologically tolerated salts with acids, processes for their preparation, pharmaceutical preparations based on these compounds and their use as medicaments having psychotropic action are described.
