PURPOSE:To decrease the blind sector when quantization is applied with a phase shift of minimum bit by applying the control changing the specified constant in response to the rate of change between beam direction angles prior to the correction of slope of a beam. CONSTITUTION:As to a digital phase shifter 2 only at one side in a direction scanning a beam in a column or a face to a phase shift quality subject to arithmetic calculation 6, a bias of a phase shift quantity larger than the phase shifter 2 connected to an antenna element 1 near the center is fed before quantization. Then a correction section 12 applies the arithmetic calculation giving a specified constant to a beam command angle so that the ratio of the beam direction angle to direct the beam in a direction to the beam direction angle at which the beam is directed actually by the beam direction angle approaches '1' prior to the calculation of the phase shift. The control section 13 controls the specified constant used by the beam slope correction section 12 while changing the constant in matching with the rate of change between the beam command angle representing the direction directed actually and the beam direction angle itself.
