Device for displaying advertising or information, comprising a movable element 6 driven in rotation by a motor 11 supplied with electrical energy by a solar cell 14. The transmission to the element 6 of the rotation provided by the output shaft 12 is ensured by a wire 9 which makes up for the absence of output torque of the motor, which is a stepping motor of the electric clock type.
