<p>PURPOSE:To discover the impossible state of dust shaking-off operation due to the impossibility of hammering at an early stage, by judging the presence of the hammering of a discharge electrode by comparing the sound detected by a vibration sound detector provided to a porcelain chamber with sound at the time of initial adjustment. CONSTITUTION:When a hammer 31 stricken the rod 32 to be struck of a discharge electrode 34, the vibration sound and impact sound generated at this time enter a support insulator 26 through a discharge frame 33 and an electrode support pipe27 to fill a porcelain chamber 38 with a sonic wave. This sonic wave is gathered by the vibration sound detector 35 such as the microphone provided to the porcelain chamber 38 and, therefore, by comparing the sonic wave at the time of actual operation with the sonic wave at the time of initial adjustment the presence of hammering of the discharge electrode 34 can be judged. By setting the arrangement place of the vibration sound detector 35 to the porcelain chamber 38, the actual state at every chamber of an electric precipitator can be judged.</p> |
