<p>PURPOSE:To perform a program searching of a music, etc., accurately by measuring the time of unrecorded part of a tape in the queuing time and review time and judging the unrecorded part as an interval when arithmetic mean of the measured values is larger than a specified value. CONSTITUTION:When a CPU 4 received an instruction to perform the program searching by key inputting 7, the CPU sends a pulse signal to a deck mechanism control circuit 5 watching signals from a level detecting circuit 3 and allows a cassette mechanism to perform queuing and reviewing. In the case of queuing or reviewing, if angular velocity of taking up a reel is constant, the speed of tape feeding changes linearly from the beginning to termination of winding. When arithmetic mean of passing time measured in queuing and reviewing in a section much shorter than total length of the tape is obtained, the section can be replaced by a section having the same length in the center of the tape irrespective of the position of the section in the tape. Accordingly, the same effect with the case where the tape is fed at the fixed speed from the beginning to termination of winding at the speed in case of passing the center of the tape in queuing or reviewing can be obtained.</p> |
