Lock-opening tool

To remove the cylinder from built-in profiled or case locks, the key of which has been lost, there is proposed (Figure 1) a spindle 1 which is guided in an ascending manner in the press-down frame 5, 6, 9 open on the working side and which is coupled at the end located on the working side to a bell 2 which is mounted so as to be longitudinally displaceable and non-rotatable in the frame and which has a slot 12 on the working side. By means of the slot, the tool is pushed under the head of a hardened self-tapping metal screw which has previously been screwed in between the tumblers of the lock cylinder. The lock cylinder is then pulled out of the lock by actuating the spindle. <IMAGE>
