发明名称 CARRIAGE MECHANISM FOR FLOPPY DISK DEVICE
摘要 PURPOSE:To eliminate the influence of external vibration and to move a carriage by a smooth slide by obtaining a carriage mechanism sliding on a rail from a magnetic and a magnetic fluid. CONSTITUTION:In an area M1 with the same polarity, a magnet 20 repulses a magnet 21, whereas in an area M2 with opposite polarities the magnet 20 attracts the magnet 21, and rice versa. However a sliding part 13 is away from the rail 11 due to the presence of the magnetic fluid 22. Since the area M1 is larger than the area M2, force acts in a direction where a clearance expands. When the carriage 10 linearly moves and is subjected to vibration from the outside, the fluctuation of the clearance between the sliding part 13 and the rail 11 can be suppressed because the force is acting in the clearance between the sliding part 13 and the rail 11 in the direction where the magnet 20 repulses the magnet 21. In the area M2 the fluctuation of the clearance can be suppressed due to the elasticity of the magnetic fluid 22. Moreover the fluctuation can be braked because the magnetic fluid 22 generates friction when the sliding part 13 slides the rail 12. In additions, since the friction caused by the magnetic fluid 22 includes only viscous one, the carriage can smoothly and slidably move.
