PURPOSE:To effectively remove an image which is displayed last time and to display a sharp image by providing a fixed magnet and a rotary cylinder member which covers it and is held at the same potential with a recording medium on the upstream side of a recording electrode. CONSTITUTION:The fixed magnet 21 and the rotary sleeve 22 which covers it are provided on the upstream side of the recording electrode 12, the rotary sleeve 22 and a roller 15 are grounded, and a belt 13 and the rotary sleeve 22 are held at the same potential. Toner on the sleeve 22 is controlled by a doctor blade 23 mounted on a toner hopper 18 to a constant amount, the nap of the toner and the surface of the belt 13 are brought into contact with each other, and the sleeve 23 and belt 13 are held at the same potential to neutralize a charge obtained at a recording position through the nap of the toner speedily, thereby making an image which is re-recorded sharp. |
