PURPOSE:To reduce the cost of construction work as well as shorten the period of construction by a method in which a structure is sank to a slightly deep position, piles are driven to a given depth, and the water of a floating tank is drained, to raise the structure up to the position of a stopper. CONSTITUTION:When a structure 3 reaches a given position, piles 5 are penetrated into the holes 4 of the structure 3 by means of a barge 7 and landed to the bottom under their weights while regulating the positions. While hanging the structure 3 by the barge 7, water is injected into the floating tank of the structure 3 to sink it down to a slightly deeper position than a given position, and the piles 5 are driven to a given depth. When water is drained from the floating tank, the structure 3 is floated up under the guidance of the piles 5 and stopped at stoppers 6. Cement mortar is then poured to fix the structure 5 to the piles 5. The structure 3 can thus be stably settle at a given position in sea by means of such simple members and facilities.
