PURPOSE:To use the same data for both phase analysis and frequency analysis by analyzing a phase from a sampling signal of oscillation and noise and rotation pulse information and also utilizing it for the frequency analysis by complex fast Fourier transformation. CONSTITUTION:The oscillation of a rotary machine 10 is measured at (n) points by oscillation sensors 11a-11n. Their electric output signals are inputted as a parallel signal to a multi-plexer 12, which outputs a series signal to an A/D converter 13. The output signal of the converter 13 is led to a microcomputer composed of a phase analyzing means 15, etc. The microcomputer performs processes data by the sensor 11a-11n. The means 15 also inputs rotation pulses from a rotation pulse generator 14 which generates one pulses on every turn of the rotary machine 10. The means 15 finds the phase at each sampling point and a complex arithmetic means 16 decomposes the sampling value at the phase point into a real part and an imaginary part by using the phase. Thus, the result of frequency analysis 17 is displayed 18.
