PURPOSE:To open a lid almost in operation by a human being, and to measure and display the opening force continuously by fixing an upper head to a column, fitting and end holder base and a cross heat to the column, and interposing a spring between them. CONSTITUTION:An open end is mounted on an end holder 16 and set by engaging a hook with a tab. In this state, the holder 16 rotates as the cross head 11 is lowered and a chain is tensed when the tab becomes horizontal. Then, the tab is inhibited by the chain from rotating and only the main lid body mounted on the holder 16 is rotted to make a score break. The tab is horizontal during this period and the chain draws the tab in a 90 deg. direction so as to hold a load cell 5 in a dropped state all the time by the right-left movement of a slide table 4, thereby opening the lid. When the head 11 is to move down successively, the whole base of the holder 16 moves down and to make a score tear and a cutoff while the lid is slanted at a set angle. In this case, the drawing direction of the chain becomes vertical as well as in the score break and the lid is opened to the end, so that there is no error generated.
