In this case, use is made of a tube arrangement (18-30) which can be inserted sideways in front of the tube plate (sheet) on the gas-inlet side and has parallel, individually controllable airfeed tubes (20-28) whose inner ends are connected by a cross beam (30) supporting blow nozzles (46). The blow nozzles are fed in groups from the individual feed tubes via individual cross-beam sections separated from one another.
