The invention relates to a flexible all-steel coupling, the two flanges 1, 2 of which are connected in torsionally rigid fashion but with the ability to move axially and angularly by an annular spring-plate assembly 3, 4. The spring-plate assemblies 3, 4 are held together as a preassembled ring by sleeves 7 which are pushed through holes in the spring-plate assemblies 3, 4 provided for the tightening bolts 5. At one end, the sleeves 7 bear an integrally formed collar 6 serving as a washer and, at the other end, carry a washer 8 which can be displaced on them. The integrally formed collar 6 is positioned at the end of the bolt 5 remote from the flange. The clamping force is transmitted to it in a distributed manner by a collar 11 formed integrally on the nut 9, thereby preventing overloads due to clamping at the rim of the hole in the plates, which is susceptible to fractures. A free space 13, into which the material of the sleeve 7 can yield when subjected to stress, is left between the shank 12 of the tightening bolt 5 and the washer 8 at the end of the sleeve 7 adjacent to the flange. <IMAGE>
