PURPOSE:To obtain a cyan dye image fast to light, heat, moisture etc., by incorporating a specific compd. into a titled material. CONSTITUTION:This material contains at least one kind of the compd. expressed by the formula, where R1 denotes a branched alkyl group, etc., R2 denotes a hydrogen atom, etc., R3 denotes a halogen atom, etc., X denotes a hydrogen atom or halogen atom, Z denotes a hydrogen atom or group which can be desorbed by coupling reaction, n denotes 0-4 integer, and m denotes 0-5 integer. the phenolic cyan coupler is preferably used alone and >=2 kinds thereof may be used in combination. Said coupler may be used in combination with 1 or >=2 kinds of other phenolic cyan couplers. The coupler is incorporated preferably at 1X10<-4>-10mol, more preferably 0.05-0.5mol per mol of silver halide in the case of using the coupler alone. |
