<p>The prefabricated ceiling comprises a number of parallel T-section supporting beams suspended from the building structure, and to which panels are fixed at right angles. The panels (1) are secured to the beams (7) by flat metal fixing devices (4) each comprising a rectangular middle portion. The first pair of opposite sides of the latter join onto fixing lips bent round the beam flange, and the second onto clamping feet sloping downwards and apart. The feet are bent outwards to form hooks at the free ends, and engage in two slots (2) milled in the upper face of the panel.</p> |
