The hydraulic valve adjustment device (1) is provided in its lower part with a separator piston (3) or special membrane (10) which separates gas-filled containers (11) in which gas pressure can be regulated as required. By using the enclosed gas mass effect as a progressive spring, differing lengths of stroke can be obtained in the separating piston (3), and so in the pressure piston (2) before it is forced to stop and the valve adjustment device (1) commences to function as a fixed pivot point for the rocker arms. - The adjustment device (1) is modified similarly, but functions so that the membrane (10) occupies most of the device lower part at the outlet position, and must firstly be pressed together to its lowest volume before the pressure piston (2) is forced to stop, and the device (1) commences to operate as a fixed pivot point for the rocker arms. |
