BUILDING MANAGEMENT SYSTEM

PURPOSE:To economize a system by transmitting the information inherent in a building such as power collected by a remote equipment to a centralized management equipment via a private branch exchange in a building so as to eliminate the need for a private line. CONSTITUTION:Remote equipments 1a-1n are provided at every floor and the centralized management equipment 2 supervising and controlling each management item such as power is provided based on the inherent information such as power collected by the remote equipments 1a-1n. The remote equipments 1a-1n and the centralized management equipment 2 are connected to the private branch exchange (PBX) 4 in the same building via a private branch exchange network 5 and the inherent information such as power collected by the remote equipments 1a-1n is transmitted to the central management equipment 2 via the PBX 4 and the network 5. Thus, no private line to transmit the inherent information is required and the economicity of the system is improved.
