摘要 PURPOSE:To unnecessitate safety countermeasures such as heat insulation treatment and the like by cooling hydrogen pipelines disposed in the vicinities of heat generated portions, which connect metal hydride vessels to each other, with cooling water, and heating hydrogen pipelines of heat regeneration tanks at heat utilizing positions with heat sources. CONSTITUTION:Two hydrogen pipelines 9A and 9B are arranged for connecting to each other two pairs of metal hydride vessels 3A, 7A and 3B, 7B which are installed at heat generated portions and heat utilizing portions. Metal hydride filled in the vessel 3A causes a hydrogen dissociation reaction (endothermic reaction) by the supply of heat. A hydrogen gas is cooled by a heat exchanger 10, and then is transported by the hydrogen pipeline 9A, preliminarily heated with the low heat source (waste heat source) through a heat exchanger 12, and is supplied to the vessel 7A. Similarly, by successively changing over the metal hydride vessels, heat collected by a heat collector 1 can be continuously transported to a thermal load 5. Further, since the heat transport hydrogen pipeline is of constantly an atmospheric temperature and the hydrogen gas is preliminarily heated by heat exchangers 12 and 15, the heat transport can be performed safely and at a high efficiency.
