PURPOSE:To obtain a smoked food having improved taste and shelf stability, etc., by heating wood pieces by a heater, introducing formed smoke into a smoke feed pipe, cooling the smoke flowing in the smoke feed pipe by a cooler and providing a feed ingredient with the smoke. CONSTITUTION:A food ingredient 9 in a semidried state is set in a furnace 10 of a main body 1 of cooking device. Wood pieces 4 are put in a box 5 laid at a lower part of the main body 1 of cooking device, the wood pieces 4 are heated by a heater 3 and generated smoke is introduced from a smoke suction inlet 6 to a smoke feed pipe 7. The smoke flowing in the smoke feed pipe 7 is cooled with air sent from a blower 13. Then, the cooled low-temperature smoke is fed through a smoke outlet 8 to the furnace 10 and the feed ingredient 9 set in the furnace is smoked to give the aimed smoked food. |
