A coin-operated gaming machine with a roulette-like indicator region, in which win fields can be set via a setting-key group and in which a continuous signal, especially a light signal which is continuous by means of stepped-on lamps, stops in a similar way to the roulette ball and marks a win field, is improved, to the effect of additional incitement to play, without a complication of the playing mode and of the machine design and without high outlay in terms of machinery, in that the play result is evaluated in relation to an additional subsequent play, when no win is achieved, in which case the signal previously symbolising the ball stops and, instead, the opposite field ring receives a continuous signal which can lead to a win.
