<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air cleaner capable of removing dust in air inside a room and also disinfecting and deodorizing inside of the entire room. <P>SOLUTION: The air cleaner 1 alternately performs the air cleaning operation processing of sucking the air inside the room from an intake port 11 provided with a filter, removing the dust included in the air by a HEPA filter 32 and sterilizing or inactivating viruses and bacteria caught by a virus cutting filter 33 and the solution spraying operation processing of sucking the air from an intake port 17 without the filter, atomizing and spraying disinfecting and deodorizing liquid 20 inside the entire room and thus disinfecting and deodorizing the entire room by the particles of the disinfecting and deodorizing liquid 20 which fall inside the room or are stuck to furniture and fixtures not only in the air, and when the solution spraying operation is ended and the disinfecting and deodorizing liquid 20 sprayed inside the room is stuck inside the room and almost stops floating, starts the air cleaning operation processing.
