PURPOSE:To take the 2nd and succeeding copies accurately when plural both- surface copies in even-numbered original mode are taken by providing a mode resetting means which resets the even-numbered original mode when there is no original on an original tray. CONSTITUTION:When an original sensor 24 does not turn on during both-surface copying operation, namely, when there is no original as to next both-surface copying operation, the even-unumbered original if selected is reset temporarily and the copying operation is set in a ready state. The even-numbered original mode is reset after the both-surface operation of an even-numbered original group 71b, so when the both-surface copying operation of another even-numbered original group 71b is carried out, the even-numbered original mode need to be set newly. Consequently, the even-numbered original mode can be updated and the both-surface copying operation of the 2nd even-numbered original group 71b can be performed normally. |
