PURPOSE:To prevent combustion from becoming unstable due to the lifting of a main flame even if the quantity of a gas supplied increases, and miniaturize the titled burner head and increase a resistance against thermal fatigue by providing a number of burner ports on a tight ceramic plate and also providing a number of minute burner ports around the peripheries of respective burner ports. CONSTITUTION:Burner ports 22 are provided on a tight ceramic plate 21 and a large number of minute burner ports 23 are provided around the peripheries of respective burner ports. Most part of a fuel gas mixed with primary air supplied from a main burner body 10 passes through burner ports 22 and is ejected from a burner head 20, and a part of the fuel gas passes through minute burner ports 23 and is ejected from the peripheries of the burner ports 22 on the surface of the burner head 20. Since each of the minute burner ports 23 has a large circulation resistance, the ejection speed of the gas which has passed through this port is relatively small, and stabilized lightened flame 26 is formed uniformly around the peripheries of the burner ports 22. Since the burner is constantly ignited by the lightened flame from the root sides uniformly around the peripheries surrounding the burner ports 22, main flames 25 do not lift even if the gas quantity increases. The ceramic plate 21 is prepared by tightly sintering ceramics of silicon carbide or the like. The diameter of each burner port is 2-3mm while the pitch thereof is 4-5mm, and the diameter of each minute burner port is 0.4-0.8mm. |
