PURPOSE:To prevent a constant luminous radiation owing to pinholes on the surface insulating membrane, by connecting electrically the second layer metals to the first layer metal in which the metal elements form second terminals of a phosphor driving transistor separated each other for phosphor dots. CONSTITUTION:After forming drain electrodes 12D1 and 12D2 of a phosphor driving transistor 12, and wiring layers 211-213 by the first layer metal consisting of Al membrane, the second layer metals 22-1 and 22-2 of a rectangular form are formed at the centers of phosphor dots 10 respectively to spread and form, when the second layer metals are formed over the first metal through insulating layers 24. While the second layer metals 22-1 and 22-2 are separated in rectangular islands for the phosphor dots 10, they are connected electrically to the first layer metal forming the drain electrodes 12D1 and 12D2 of the phosphor driving transistor 12 through the through holes 251 of the said insulating layers 24. In this case, the size of a side of the second layer metals 22-1 and 22-2 are formed larger than the diameter of the dots 10, but they may be made in the same size as the dots 10.
