PURPOSE:To make the titled interface suitable to be used as a realtime data recording device by changing over the said interface as an external memory when seen from the CPU-side. CONSTITUTION:A memory 2 necessary for recording/reproducing is provided in the realtime interface. A preset counter 3 is used for the address-setting of the memory 2, and all the I/O of data from and to a host computer 9 are executed with this memory 2. When an execution-command is transmitted from the host computer to an FDC, a data-request DRQ-command is immediately set in a read/write signal generating circuit 4 from the FDC-side. In responce to a data-set command or a data-read command, the circuit 4 generates a signal to read data from the memory 2 to write it in the FDC or a signal to read data from the FDC to write it in the memory.
