PURPOSE:To make pollution due to emission gas out of an adhesive layer of a photoconductive film supressible, by setting thickness of the adhesive layer to be thinner than that of a substrate central part at the peripheral part of a glass substrate, for example, less than one a half. CONSTITUTION:After forming a color separation strip filter 2 on a glass substrate 1, if an organic adhesive agent 4 is applied, this agent 4 flows to be thicker at the central part of the glass substrate 1 but thiner at the peripheral part, thus an adhesive layer 4a approximate to the desired thickness distribution is formed there. Next, filter protective sheet glass 3 is bent to some extent so as to keep a form of this adhesive layer 4a intact, making it adhere to the substrate, and finally an outer surface of the sheet glass 3 is polished whereby it is finished up to such sheet glass 3a that comes to a plane surface in its outer surface. With this constitution, an interval in a peripheral part of the glass substrate 1 between the glass substrate 1 and the protective sheet glass 3 becomes narrowed, whereby a gas quantity to be emitted during evaporation forming work for a target part is reducible.
