PURPOSE:To make it possible to rotate a seat without deteriorating the manipulatability of a brake device, by arranging a storable parking brake on one side of a seat cushion on the seat. CONSTITUTION:When a parking brake lever 6 is raised up, a ratchet lever 9 is lifted up and rotated to actuate a brake device. At this time a movable pawl member 13 is engaged with a stationary tooth section 8d so that the ratchet lever 9 is locked so that the vehicle falls in its parking condition. In this condition the engagement between an engaging pin 13' and an locking hole 12 in a rotary manipulating lever 12 is released, and therefore, the rotary manipulating lever 12 becomes manipulatable, thereby it is possible to rotate a seat 1 rearward. Meanwhile in a condition other than the parking condition, the engagement between the movable pawl member 13 and the stationary tooth section 8d is left to be held so that the manipulation of the rotary manipulating lever 12 may not be made. |
